World Food Day 2024 Commemoration: Let's Create Food Sustainability Together

World Food Day is celebrated every year on October 16 to raise awareness of global food issues and encourage action to address hunger and malnutrition. This year, the theme is “Food Sustainability for All,” highlighting the importance of inclusive and sustainable food systems.

To commemorate this, various international organizations, governments, and communities around the world will hold seminars, workshops, and campaigns to educate the public about the importance of sustainable agriculture, reducing food waste, and healthy food consumption.

According to the latest report from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), around 690 million people worldwide still suffer from hunger. This figure shows the need for collective efforts to create effective and sustainable solutions to ensure access to sufficient food for all.
