BPS Riau Province held the ST2023 Regional Coordination Meeting (Rakorda)

The Riau Province Central Statistics Agency (BPS) held the ST2023 Regional Coordination Meeting (Rakorda) at the Labersa Hotel, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency which took place from 23 to 24 October 2024. This event was attended by relevant stakeholders and representatives from all Regency/City BPS throughout Riau Province.

Main Discussion:

1. Complete ST2023 Enumeration Results, by Muji Basuki SST, M.Si, BPS Intermediate Expert Statistics for Riau Province, who explained important data and findings from the 2023 Agricultural Census.

2. Basic Agricultural Development Strategic Policy, by Asep Riyadi S.Si., M.M, Head of BPS Riau Province, explaining the strategic policies that will be taken to support the development of the agricultural sector in Riau.

3. The Role of Palm Oil Farmers in the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), by Budi Santoso, Chair of Gapoktan Manunggal Sakti, discussing the impact of the European Union's deforestation regulations on palm oil farmers in Riau.

At this event, the Regional Government of Kuantan Singingi Regency received the EPSS award with the fourth best ranking in Riau Province, as a form of appreciation for their performance and contribution in implementing EPSS.
