BPS Kuantan Singingi Holds Statistics Corner Training at UNIKS

TELUK KUANTAN, March 25, 2025 – The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Kuantan Singingi Regency conducted a training session for statistical agents at the Islamic University of Kuantan Singingi (UNIKS) to enhance statistical literacy among students. This initiative aims to facilitate access to statistical data to support research and academic activities. Two speakers, Deki Sukmaringga, S.Si., M.E., and Ahsin Istighfari, S.Si., delivered presentations on the Statistics Corner program, technical guidelines for statistical education and promotion, and strategies for disseminating statistical data through social media for broader outreach.

UNIKS Vice Rector I, M. Irwan, S.E., M.Si., expressed his appreciation for this initiative and encouraged students to actively utilize the Statistics Corner services. He hopes this program will improve students' and lecturers' understanding and skills in accessing and analyzing statistical data, ultimately enhancing the quality of research and data-driven decision-making.
