BPS Kuantan Singingi Holds Ceremony to Commemorate the 117th National Awakening Day

Tuesday, May 20, 2025 – The Statistics Indonesia (BPS) Office of Kuantan Singingi Regency held a ceremony to commemorate the 117th National Awakening Day as an expression of patriotism, as well as a form of respect and appreciation for the national heroes who made significant contributions to the Republic of Indonesia.

This historic moment serves as a reminder of the national movement initiated by Dr. Sutomo, who founded the Budi Utomo organization. This organization succeeded in uniting various elements of the nation to fight for and realize Indonesia's independence. The spirit and momentum of that movement remain highly relevant and needed in today’s efforts to build the nation.

Through this ceremony, it is hoped that the spirit of Budi Utomo can be rekindled in every employee of BPS Kuantan Singingi, so that the commemoration of National Awakening Day is not merely a ceremonial routine, but a meaningful event that inspires a renewed sense of nationalism in work and service.
