BPS Kuansing Holds SERUTI Survey Briefing 2025, “Data Accuracy for Development.”

Kuantan Singingi, June 5, 2025 – The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Kuantan Singingi (Kuansing) Regency today held a briefing on the 2025 Quarterly Household Economic Survey (SERUTI). Held virtually through the Zoom Meeting platform, this activity was attended by a total of 28 participants, consisting of 14 partners as Field Enumerators (PCL) and 14 organic BPS employees as Field Supervisors (PML).

Adhitya Nugraha, who acted as Inda, opened the briefing session by emphasizing the importance of the SERUTI Quarter II data collection process. He emphasized that data collection will take place throughout April to June, with the core period of the survey scheduled for June 10 to 20, 2025. Particular emphasis is placed on compliance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) set by BPS in order to maintain data quality.

The main objective of the SERUTI survey is to produce accurate and comprehensive household economic data. This data will later become an important reference for the local government in preparing development plans in various sectors. With valid data, it is hoped that development programs can be more targeted and provide maximum positive impacts for the Kuantan Singingi community.

This briefing is a crucial preparatory step to ensure that all officers understand the procedures and targets that must be achieved. With collaboration between partners and organic BPS employees, it is hoped that the implementation of SERUTI 2025 can run smoothly and produce high-quality data that is greatly needed for regional progress.
