On October 8, 2024, the BPS of Kuantan Singingi held the Quarterly Training for Micro and Small Industry (IMK) Survey Officers for 2024. The event was officially opened by the Head of BPS, Ir. Rozalinda, ME, who emphasized the importance of this survey in collecting accurate data on businesses in the micro and small industry sector. The training aims to provide a deeper understanding of the data collection process to the field officers.
The data collection for the 2024 IMK Survey will utilize the CAPI (Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing) method, which offers advantages in terms of time and cost efficiency, while also maximizing resource utilization. By enhancing the skills and knowledge of the participants, it is expected that the data obtained will be of high quality, supporting more accurate decision-making by all stakeholders involved.
