Call to commemorate the 76th National Defense Day by BPS Kuantan Singingi Regency

The Kuantan Singingi Regency Central Statistics Agency (BPS) held a morning rally on Thursday, December 19 2024, to commemorate the 76th National Defense Day. The theme for this year's National Defense Day commemoration is "National Defense Movement for Advanced Indonesia", which describes the enthusiasm to continue to live up to the values ​​of defending the country in everyday life. Real contributions in various aspects of life—such as ideology, politics, economics, social culture, education, technology, and defense and security—are considered the key to realizing Advanced Indonesia.

In the context of national defense, every individual has an important role. The five basic principles of defending the country are the main foundation, namely: Love for the Motherland, National and State Awareness, Belief in Pancasila as the State Ideology, Willingness to Sacrifice for the Nation and State, Initial Ability to Defend the Country. These values ​​are the foundation for forming mental and physical strength. Through the spirit of defending the country, it is hoped that all elements of society can continue to contribute positively to Indonesia's progress.

This rally is also a reminder that defending the country is not only the duty of the security forces, but the responsibility of all Indonesian citizens.
