Internalization of Vision Indicators and Main Indicators of Indonesian Development 2025-2045

The direction and strategy of Indonesia's development have been stipulated in Law Number 59 of 2024 concerning the National Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPN) for 2025-2045. One important aspect in the implementation of the RPJPN is monitoring and evaluation of development, which in Article 5 paragraph 1 is stated to be carried out through measuring the vision target indicators and the main development indicators. This measurement is coordinated and implemented by the Central Government with support from related institutions, including the Central Statistics Agency (BPS).

The role of BPS in national development is increasing, especially in providing accurate data and statistics. To ensure the effectiveness of RPJPN monitoring, BPS has mapped 10 vision target indicators and 76 main development indicators. This data will be the basis for the government in evaluating the progress of national development and adjusting policies if necessary.

This Internalization activity was carried out online through a zoom meeting attended by the Head of the Provincial BPS and the Head of the Regency/City BPS. The Internalization Agenda was carried out in a series for 8 weeks starting from January 16 to March 6, 2025. In addition, this activity was also broadcast via YouTube so that all BPS employees could follow it.
