Kuantan Singingi – The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Kuantan Singingi Regency officially launched the 2025 Village Potential Data (PODES) Enumerator Training on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. The event was formally opened by the Head of BPS Kuantan Singingi, Ir. Rozalinda, ME.
In her opening remarks, Ir. Rozalinda highlighted the crucial role of PODES data as a foundation for accurate, targeted, and sustainable village development planning. She also emphasized the importance of enhancing enumerator capacity to ensure the collection of valid and accountable data.
The training is attended by field officers who will be responsible for collecting PODES data across Kuantan Singingi Regency. The program is conducted in three phases: self-paced learning through the MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) platform on May 19–20, 2025; followed by remote online training on May 21, 2025; and concluding with in-person training on Thursday, May 22, 2025.
Training materials are delivered by two Regional Instructors (INDA), Ahsin Istighfari, S.Si, and Deki Sukmaringga, S.Si, M.E, who provided in-depth insights into various technical and methodological aspects of data collection.
Through this training, BPS Kuantan Singingi aims to equip enumerators with the necessary skills and professionalism to produce high-quality, reliable village data that can support effective development planning.
