Harvested Area and Production of Paddy in Kuantan Singingi Regency 2019 Based on ASF Method

This publication presents data and information about harvested area and rice production in Kuantan Singingi District using the result of KSA Method calculation. Timely and accurate data on harvested area and rice production are crucial to determine agricultural policies that are right on target. To get timely and accurate data, the data collection method used must be the best method possible. Unfortunately, data collection using conventional methods is still considered to have frew shortcomings, such as low accuracy and long collection times. In this regard, BPS collaborates with the Technology Assessment and Application Agency (BPPT) to develop a sample framework and technology-based reporting system in order to improve the methodology for collecting statistical agricultural data. The collaboration then realize in an activity entitled "Collecting Agricultural Data Statistics on Integrated Food Crops with the Area Sample Framework Method (KSA)".
