Head of BPS Kuansing attended Inflation Control Team Coordination Meeting

Tuesday 4 March 2025, Head of BPS Kuantan Singingi Regency Ir. Rozalinda ME, attended the Inflation Control Team Coordination Meeting with the Ministry of Home Affairs & Team in the Asrul Jafar Meeting Room of the Kuantan Singingi Regent's Office, which was held online. This meeting was attended by Deputy Regent of Kuantan Singingi H. Mukhlisin, Regional Secretary, Assistant II, Kuansing Police Representative, Head of Bappedalitbang and several Heads of related OPDs. On this occasion, the Head of BPS RI said that the condition of national price developments in February experienced deflation of -0.48%, with the main commodities contributing to deflation, namely: electricity rates, purebred chicken meat, shallots, red chilies, cayenne peppers, purebred chicken eggs and so on. As with the review of national inflation which experienced deflation, Kuantan Singingi also experienced deflation as illustrated by the February Price Development Index (IPH) figure of -1.27%. IPH is a proxy for inflation, specifically capturing price developments for 20 food commodities.
